Mortgage based indices employ estimated current values for those properties the subject of loans. Mortgage data reflect both numbers of loans and current lender policy. The Land Registry LR alone provides factual prices, including those of properties bought with cash, for every transaction in England and Wales;
only our AcadHPI and Acadametrics Prices and Transactions series use every such price.
